Hey Aaron,

I really like your videos. Clear, concise, and interesting; a glimpse into the life of an entrepreneur who is successful because he's having fun!

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Cheryl! And thank you for sharing how you approach this as well, your suggestion on simply keeping a list of questions and referring back to them is excellent. Keep it simple!

I have a flip, but for these videos I just used a digital camera. I loaned my flip to my mother so she could record a 'walk through the daffodils' at her house up in Sonoma. She says she's mailing it back to me right now...

These were just first babysteps - I'm going to keep playing with video. Not sure where I'll take it but it's been fun so far!

Aaron - I love your journal process (the morning pages from the Artist's Way)- and you're right about quieting the logical, linear mind. If you let it speak its peace, it can rest and let the deeper than conscious voice speak. I call this the quiet self. I've had truly amazing creative insights using a kind of journal method.

One thing I like to do is make a list of questions I want answers to. Every few days I scan the list to see if I now know any of the answers. This way I can learn to trust that the answers are within me (or will come naturally to me). I don't need to ask others for the answers. At some point I've discovered that several questions no longer have relevance, and the questions that are truly interesting become spring boards for new products and services.

I have an office but I find I never work there. A desk makes me feel that I'm working....so like you I take my notebook or my laptop to my big red chair. A kitchen table even feels too much like work to me (there's work to be done with that issue!)

I loved your play bucket and stickers... and colored pencils. I can see that you're a fan of smiley faces :) Isn't it great to redefine the day.... redefine work.

Thanks for the glimpse into your day. Cheryl

Do you use a Flip?
